CityLoup is an art collective based in Toledo, Ohio. It allows analog and digital formats to coexist and promotes the friction necessary to stem the torrent of news-related misinformation. The physical properties of these pieces, often displayed with PhotoTex (an adhesive photo format that can be adapted to any size for any flat surface), are a reminder that these violent events occurred in real space and geography; not just in the virtual and ephemeral spaces of social media.
