Retraction: “Muscimol-induced inactivation of the ventral prefrontal cortex impairs counting performance in rhesus monkeys”

At the request of Sage, the authors, and the Journal Editors, the following article has been retracted:

The corresponding author (C.M.) contacted Science Progress to request a retraction of this article. They explained this work was conducted by C.M. as part of their PhD in 2002 under the supervision of B.L. They confirmed that the article was submitted without B.L. being informed and that W.S. was not involved in the work reported.

Due to concerns that the work was published without the approval of B.L. and that W.S. did not contribute to the experimental work that was conducted in 2002, this article has been retracted.

All authors agreed with the decision to retract this article.
