Abstract
Following the publication of this article, the author notes that the citation of “Krzysztof et al” throughout the article and in the references is incorrect. It should read “Kucharz et al”. The corrected citation in the reference list to which this in-text citation refers is: “Kucharz K, Wieloch T, Toresson H (2011) Rapid fragmentation of the endoplasmic reticulum in cortical neurons of the mouse brain in situ following cardiac arrest. J Cereb Blood Flow Metab (this issue)”. The author apologizes for this oversight.
