Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is associated with increased cerebrovascular disease, but acute intracranial dynamics during obstructive events remain uncertain. We hypothesized that negative intrathoracic pressure elevates intracranial pressure (ICP) by increasing central venous pressure (CVP) and impairing cerebral venous outflow.
