Synthesis and Structures of [(4-pyridylmethyl)oxy]tetrathiacalix[4]Arenes Derived from O-alkylation of Tetrathiacalix[4]Arene with 4-(chloromethyl)Pyridine
O-Alkylation of the flexible tetrathiacalix[4]arenes 1 with 4-(chloromethyl)pyridine in the presence of Cs2CO3 gave tetra-O-alkylated products with 1,3-alternate and 1,2-alternate conformation.
