This is a case study of extremity soft-tissue sarcoma of the right thigh.Ultrasound identified a mass and a surgical specimen diagnosed malignant fibrous histiocytoma, the histological subtype of soft-tissue sarcoma.Soft-tissue sarcoma is a relatively rare type of cancer in which the patient's prognosis is dependent on the histologic grade, size, and location of the tumor.
