Cochlearoids L and M: Two New Meroterpenoids from the Fungus Ganoderma cochlear

Abstract

Cochlearoids L (1) and M (2), two new meroterpenoids and three known ones, were isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma cochlear. The new structures were elucidated by spectroscopic and chemical methods. Biological evaluation showed that 1 could inhibit bromodomain-containing protein 4 (BRD4) with IC₅₀ value of 68.7 μM. Besides, 1 was found to have weak cytotoxic activities against three human cell lines (A549, K562, Huh-7) with IC₅₀ values in the range of 39.6–190.0 μM.
