Abstract

■ A selective review was undertaken to identify factors which may affect a child's compliance with immunosuppressive therapies, post-renal transplant.

■ Studies were categorised as either examining compliance from an experiential or selective attribution approach.

■ There are multiple reasons for non- compliance.

■ Children and families require much more support than previously recognised.
