Abstract
Journaling has been around for many centuries but continues to be a vital modality in the realm of complementary alternative medicine. This modality is discussed relative to the technique, outcomes, and benefits derived from regularly using journaling for expression and relaxation. The response to journaling by different individuals and application techniques are an integral part of this article. The key considerations—patience, practice, and consistency—are presented as they relate to the successful development of regular journaling.
