The home care industry has been wrapped up in OASIS-C for many months now. The “what if ” questions are over, and the concrete user-generated questions are rolling to the surface. With the January release of the CMS OCCB Q&As, a number of these user-generated questions posed to CMS were clarified. This article, with the January Q&As attached, reviews some modifications in the old OASIS “rules” causing clinicians and agencies to reprogram some of their strategies and procedures.
