Erratum

In “The WHODAS II: Measuring Outcomes of Hearing Aid Intervention for Adults” by Rachel McArdle, PhD, Theresa H. Chisolm, PhD, Harvey B. Abrams, PhD, Richard H. Wilson, PhD, and Patrick J. Doyle, PhD, Trends in Amplification. 2005; 9(3): 127–143, Table 3 (page 134) reported incorrect values for the HHIE for the IT group 10-week follow-up mean and standard deviation, difference score, and F-value.

The corrected Table 3 appears below.

An incorrect effect size was listed for the HHIE in Table 4 (page 135). The correct value is 1.42.

These changes do not materially affect the interpretation of the results, with the exception that the HHIE effect size is large, rather than medium.
