Abstract
This case illustrates the use of innovation process by the technology company Comcept to build a profitable telemedicine start up in Pakistan called TeleSehat. Previous efforts in this area had been rudimentary and philanthropic. The case highlights the market need for telemedicine in the country, and provides an account of the innovative technology products, clinical processes and awareness campaigns developed by the company. It provides a good background to discuss the challenges and risks that the company faces, as it looks to form strategic partnerships to transition from its start up stage towards becoming profitable.
