Abstract
A controlled study was carried out to evaluate the efficacy of Doloneurobion ampoules and tablets in the treatment of patients suffering from ‘low back pain’ due to herniated disc syndrome, narrowed spinal canal and other causes. Fifty patients received treatment with both the parenteral and oral presentation of Doloneurobion during an average treatment period of three weeks. Twenty patients with similar symptoms acted as a control group and received physical treatment only.
Doloneurobion produced significantly better results (p < 0·05) than the control group using the parameters of ‘pain', ‘parasthesiae’ and scoliosis. No undue side-effects were noted during the study.
