Abstract
In the context of target optimization for multi-keV x-ray production in laser experiment, we have adapted a method for visual observation of the conversion efficiency calculated from a large number of 1-D hydro-radiative simulations. A Monte Carlo method based on uniformly distributed random values for parameters in predefinite ranges has been used. The conversion efficiency can be considered as one constraint which leads to correlations between parameters. In addition, the sensitivity of the conversion efficiency to the various target and laser parameters appears visually.
