Abstract
The syntheses of 5-hydroxy-6-bromo-2-pyridone, 5-hydroxy-6-nitroso-2-pyridone, 3-bromo-5-acetoxy-2-pyridone, and 3-nitro-5-acetoxy-2-pyridone are described.
