Abstract
Acrylamide (AAm) was grafted onto the surface of dopamine coated titanium metal sheet by the 60Co-γ irradiation method. The structure of the Ti surfaces was examined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy before and after grafting. Scanning electronic microscopy was employed to observe the surface morphologies, and hydrophilicity of the modified Ti surface was measured by water contact angle. Results showed that AAm was successfully grafted on the dopamine coated Ti sheet surface, and the complexed hydrophilic layer was firmly anchored on the Ti surface.
