Abstract
With fewer than 100 reported occurrences, spontaneous unilateral ectopic multiple gestation pregnancies are considered to be very rare. The following case review is only the sixth reported case in medical literature since 1891 of a spontaneous triplet ectopic pregnancy. The majority of reported cases have been twin ectopic pregnancies. Multigestation ectopic pregnancies are most often found in patients who have undergone some form of infertility treatment. The incidence of a multigestation ectopic pregnancy happening spontaneously without ovulation-inducing treatment is considered to be an infrequent occurrence.
