Abstract
This teaching case examines the complexities encountered by a global industrial company undergoing digital transformation, particularly due to its heterogeneous production landscape. It highlights the critical factors for effectively orchestrating digital transformation initiatives and utilizing the scalability of technological applications. This industry example is relevant for delegates, students and practitioners aiming to implement maturity models and to realize the digital transformation within the context of Industry 4.0.
