Abstract
Osteoma of the external auditory canal is a benign slow-growing mass, usually solitary and obstructing the ear canal. We stress the importance of MR imaging in the diagnosis of these tumours; MR reveals the fibrovascular channels which are the histological hallmark of osteoma.
