Viene descritto un caso di displasia fronto-nasale, sindrome congenita caratterizzata da anomalie della linea mediana della faccia e, occasionalmente, del sistema nervoso centrale.
Attraverso un'analisi della letteratura si discutono brevemente i fattori eziopatogenetici e gli aspetti diagnostico-differenziali con altre sindromi che presentano anomalie comuni.
