An image bank of CT scans done in emergency for cranial trauma, was constituted on an optical disk of 200 Mo (800 images).
The access to this data bank is ensured by a programme written in LISP language on a IBM compatible micro computer COMPAZ 386/20e.
The image bank contains normal and pathological images classified according to the lesions and their localisations, in the form of a tree-design. The clinical file can be consulted as well as associated images and also the evolution of images.
This system can be adapted to other subject matters that have iconographic documents.
