The simultaneous occurrence of multiple pituitary adenomas is rare, generally discovered at autopsy or during pituitary surgery. We report a case of synchronous bilateral pituitary adenomas, concurrently revealed by MR imaging (MRI) as part of the investigation of the patient's severe persistent headaches. To the best of our knowledge, this is the sixth case diagnosed in vivo by MRI.
