Abstract
School nurses are witnesses to the population-level needs of the students and families they serve. School nurses’ advocacy for policy change can improve students’ health and learning conditions. This article will review the initiatives NASN has undertaken and the NASN resources available to support school nurses’ role in legislative advocacy at the state and national levels.
