Abstract
Continuing training is essential for workforce development and organizational improvement. This study evaluates the effectiveness of 113 synchronous virtual courses offered by a Chilean technical training organization, using Stufflebeam’s CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) as a structured framework to assess participant satisfaction and perceptions of the training process. Variables such as age, work experience, and prior knowledge were considered. Results show high satisfaction with technical support and platform usability, while identifying areas for improvement in instructional clarity, instructor punctuality (session start and schedule adherence), and attitude. While the initial analysis did not show significant correlations with prior knowledge, subsequent analysis revealed a positive relationship between topic familiarity and satisfaction levels, reinforcing the value of tailoring training to participant profiles. The CIPP model proves to be a valuable tool for evaluating continuing education programs.
