Abstract
How can we know more about students—their habits, concerns, and preferences, as well as how they use and what they think about the services we provide? When educators at Penn State were confronted with this question, they came up with a straightforward solution. They decided to pick up the phone and find out. So they created Penn State Pulse, an ongoing effort to survey students and communicate results.
