Abstract
This article examines the real-life problems and issues of what can happen with registry care-givers. The case study profiles what happened to one family who hired a caregiver from a registry to care for their elderly parents and details the financial and emotional toll it took on the patients and the family. To protect the confidentiality of those involved in these case studies, all names used in this manuscript are fictitious.
