The mechanism reliability includes kinematic and dynamic aspects. Both are influenced by probabilistic uncertainties of influential factors, such as dimensional errors, joint clearances, assembling errors, friction coefficients, errors of input driving velocities and external loads, etc. In order to synthetically consider the effect of such factors on the mechanism and efficiently compute its reliability at the same time, a new Monte Carlo simulation method is presented.
