Abstract

Measurement of Beterogamy, Social Mobility and their Relationship in France: Secondary Construction of Two Variables Based on the 1989 INSEE "Employment" Survey. Based on the INSEE "Emploi" (Employment) survey, a table is constructed which crosses the social origines of male and female members of a couple. The table is then used in the study of social trajectories.
