Systemic Treatment of Prostate Cancer, edited by Alan Horwich, is a pocket-sized evidence-based guide for clinicians or specialist nurses who work in this field. It comprises 10 chapters of up-to-date information on everything that is relevant to systemic management of prostate cancer. Each chapter is written by current leading experts in their field, who guide the reader neatly through all that is known, and not yet known, on this subject, including references to the leading topical trials. This is an excellent book as although it appears small and ‘pocket-sized’, it is packed with extensive information.
