Pensions information: how to find out

Abstract

Pensions are receiving increasing attention with growing interest in planning for old age and in the vast sums of money involved. We have recently seen a White paper on Social Security which covers pensions and is the culmination of several years' debate by government and private bodies. Pension provision in the U.K. consists of state, occupational (employment-based) and personal (private provision) pensions. A large number of sources of information are now available including periodicals, books, libraries and associations.
