Abstract
This article shares the experiences of Novo Nordisk Global Information & Analysis’ efforts within virtual training. Virtual training is live training in a virtual classroom and focuses on engaging participants through exercises and peer-to-peer learning. Virtual training can be an efficient tool for information professionals to reach their end users globally and cut costs at the same time. However, it also poses some challenges, which demand that information professionals consider competency development, understanding of the virtual classroom and virtual etiquette.
