Abstract
Perceived Organizational Support is considered to be a significant variable with important implications for desired employee behavior and attitudes that could lead an organization to attain competitive advantage. In order to find out what leads to higher POS in Indian context, the data has been collected from 308 employees working in different organizations in the National Capital Region (NCR). The present study attempts to examine the relationship between perceived human resource practices and perceived organizational support (POS). Regression analysis reveal that along with employee age, HR practices including supervisor support, career development, compensation and selection and staffing are the significant predictors of perceived organizational support.
