Abstract
In 2024, Wisconsin experienced one of the highest voter turnout rates in the nation. This piece explains three lessons from the 2024 election in Wisconsin. First, the immediate policy impact felt in Wisconsin after the state's 2023 Supreme Court Election likely drew voters to the polls to create change in 2024. Second, many Wisconsinites split their ballots, suggesting that direct campaign messaging against the ultrawealthy can be a winning tactic. Third, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin adopted year-round, grassroots organizing to build relationships in communities, an approach that can lead to both political and union wins.
