Abstract
Adverse reaction data communication between the headquarters of a multinational pharmaceutical company and one of its subsidiaries is described. In addition, translation of COSTART into WHO adverse reaction terminology and the problems encountered, are discussed. This company has a common data base and coding system to handle worldwide reports of adverse reactions.
