Hybrid Horizons: Exploring Students’ Perceptions of Blended Learning in the Post-Covid era

Abstract

The primary focus of this research is to analyze university students’ perceptions of the blended learning method, particularly within the context of artificial intelligence and the post-covid learning environment. The participants in this study consist of undergraduate students in their second and third years at a private university in South Korea. To gain deeper insights into the impact of these pedagogical approaches, we conducted qualitative research, seeking answers to our research questions through students’ reflections. The findings reveal the potential benefits and limitations of blended learning before, during, and after the pandemic. Key findings underscore the influence of student motivation and engagement on learning effectiveness and efficiency. The research also advocates for the necessity of innovative teaching practices and robust student support services to optimize the implementation of the blended learning method.
