Abstract
The circular economy-focused organisations are units that function under the principles of the circular economy. This study demonstrates the societal impacts of the circular economy-focused organisations in the stock market with respect to a range of social, economic and environmental issues of sustainable development goals (SDGs). The higher influx of capital flow from the stock market by investing in these circular economy-focused organisations will allow the organisations to scale up their operations, spend more on innovative practices and develop more sustainable practices. That, in turn, leads to a positive societal impact by reducing overall resource consumption, waste generation, environmental degradation and unemployment. Thus, the performance of circular economy-focused organisations in the stock market can have direct and indirect impacts on multiple SDGs.
