Calcific tendonitis predominantly affects the rotator cuff tendons. Other reported sites of occurrence include the tendon of the long head of biceps, the trapezius and pectoralis major muscles. We report a rare case of calcification within the posterosuperior glenoid labrum of the shoulder.
