Dear Sir I read with interest the article of Dr Ferrante et al. on spontaneous intracranial hypotension (1). To my knowledge, the first published report of meningeal enhancement on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) appeared in 1991 in Cephalalgia (2). I suspect that the authors inadvertently did not reference the article.
