Abstract
Contact allergy to lanolin is considered clinically relevant. Thirty percent wool alcohols in petrolatum are generally used for screening lanolin hypersensitivity. An unusual case of contact dermatitis of the penile skin from lanolin after sexual intercourse in the husband of a woman applying a vaginal fenticonazole 2% cream is reported. Lanolin was a vehicle of the vaginal cream.
