Abstract
Four patients with occupational skin and respiratory allergy from two cellulolytic enzymes, cellulase and xylanase, are presented. Allergic contact dermatitis was verified by positive patch test reactions with the enzymes, and the immediate allergy was revealed by skin prick tests, radiollergosorbent tests (RAST), and RAST-inhibition tests.
