String Research Journal (SRJ) is an official peer-reviewed publication of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA). The journal publishes quantitative, qualitative, historical, and philosophical research relevant to string settings--from early childhood study to the advance private studio and string ensembles. It covers a wide range of topics including: various aspects of string pedagogy and teaching practices, effective rehearsals, performance, history, and listener perception.
