The International Journal of Clinical Metabolism and Diabetes is a refereed journal publishing three times a year. It is a publication of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), the largest body in India representing metabolic disorders and covers the area of endocrinology and diabetes. The journal follows rigorous peer review.
The journal includes research projects, review articles, systematic reviews, real-world evidence, RCTs (Randomized controlled clinical trials) and RSSDI conference proceedings.
The journal represents the transitioning of diabetology into metabolic medicine representing science as a spectrum from obesity to diabetes, its complications and comorbidities. The journal will thus extend into areas such as cardiometabolic renal hepatic and cognitive dysfunction as they impact metabolism. The journal is intended to be clinically relevant to the practising physician and scholar alike, particularly emphasising thematic reviews of real-world evidence and pragmatic clinical trials. Emerging areas of therapeutics, the impact of digital medicine, personalised medicine, and technology will find a special place in the journal.
