Abstract
Clinical work with acupuncture demands even more rigorous methods of record-keeping than ordinary clinical work, given the keen interest in systematically evaluating acupuncture therapy. This report discusses Federal and New York State regulations concerning record-keeping and presents summaries of some record-keeping forms now in use by the New York Society of Acupuncture for Physicians and Dentists. It also considers the importance of patient evaluation of the result of the therapy, including the special problems of follow-up reports of the efficacy of Acupuncture therapy.
