Abstract
The article describes the system built by Statistics Denmark to handle and utilize large amounts of media citations. The system makes it possible to measure the precise number of media citations resulting from each individual news release. This information is used for giving feedback to the subject matter divisions, for developing the news releases and statistics, and for prioritizing them if necessary. In addition the system is delivering monthly statistics on media performance by subject matter division and by the organisation as a whole.
