Abstract
This article addresses selected problems encountered in assessing individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries (tbi). Neuropsychiatric assessment, neuropsychological assessment, and psychiatric responses to tbi are discussed. Two less commonly encountered diagnoses (post-traumatic stress disorder and electrical injury) are also addressed.
