Abstract
In this paper, we present a novel hybrid model called multi Q-dual hesitant fuzzy soft (M k QDHFS) rough set model, by the combination of rough sets and M k QDHFS sets. We investigate some fundamental properties of M k QDHFS rough set model. Further, we develop M k QDHFS rough approximation operators with the help of M k QDHFS relations. We discuss some useful properties of lower and upper M k QDHFS rough approximation operators. Furthermore, we present a novel framework for handling vagueness in decision-making problems based on M k QDHFS rough sets. Finally, we give an application to analyze the failure detection in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to show the validity of the proposed decision-making method.
