Abstract
Pulsed eddy current (PEC) detection technology is a new non-destructive testing technology. It can be used to detect the inner corrosion of the low-carbon steel pipeline. The frequency is an important parameter affecting the detection results. In this paper, the influences of frequencies on the detection of inner corrosion are investigated by numerical simulated. By using the method of time-domain difference, the optimization of frequency for detecting the inner corrosion of pipeline is performed. The research results can provide reference for frequency selection in the practical inspection.
