Abstract
In Japan, the electro dynamic suspension (EDS) has been studied. EDS using shorted coils, however, has the disadvantages that the pulsation of lift force occurs and the construction cost becomes high. In order to solve these defects, EDS having a conductive plate has been studied. These studies, however, assume that a plate is infinite. This paper presents the analysis of electromagnetic force of EDS having a finite conductor with quasi-three dimensional analysis.
