Abstract
Novel composite medium with simultaneously negative permeability and permittivity at microwave range is presented. The medium contains cutoff waveguide structures and chiral or chiro-ferrite inclusions. Microwave response of such medium is investigated under chiral and chiro-ferromagnetic resonances.
