Finite element analysis of deflection yoke using a novel technique for analyzing current density distribution

Abstract

A recently developed method for the accurate calculation of current density distribution is firstly applied to a practical case with the 3-D finite element analysis. The deflection yoke (DY) for the CRT system is adopted for the simulation. The simulated results are verified by comparing with an experimental data.
